A Celebration of Living Well

Hunter & Gatherer Collections was delighted to host the launch of Melissa Penfold's stunning new book, Living Well By Design which explores ways that our homes can inspire, energise and centre us all.

Melissa delighted her guests with interesting, and often amusing stories about how good design can be achieved. A key lesson is that beautiful spaces can be created with simple objects such foliage clipped from the garden or baskets full of autumnal leaves. The secret is....abundance.

Former Vogue Living Editor Robyn Holt, who held the Q&A with Melissa, noted that the book comes at an important time for people, particularly following Covid lock-downs and the re-examination of our home environments. Melissa agreed that now, more than ever, it is important for us to find beauty and balance in our homes.

Following her engaging presentation, Melissa graciously met with guests and signed copies of her book. Guests were also treated to a selection of stunning canapes presented by Renee and Glenn from Birch, plus Veuve Clicquot in our hidden garden.

We would like to thank Melissa for her generosity and graciousness, and we look forward to more events in future.
